Default 02 Luggage

I'm looking at getting some saddle bags for my 02 F4i. I'd like something with plenty of room for a long weekend ride and will stay clear of the exhaust. Pix are appreciated. Thanks

I've never heard of saddle bags but tank bags and bags for the rear pillion seat may be best suited.

Here's offerings for sport bikes by Bike Bandit: http://www.bikebandit.com/street-mot...a707829a622987

Other websites you may wanna check out to cross-shop on prices and products are Competition Accessories and Motorcycle Superstore.

Here's Motorcycle Superstore, they arguably got some of the best prices around. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...cessories.aspx

GOD. Looking at some of those prices made me really doubt my trip to the dragon and california this summer are going to happen. I have to buy gas, which won't be too bad. But do you guys have any alternate suggestions to buying bags? I have a backpack, but it's not very big. I'm just literally looking for something that won't get ripped off or destroyed by the bike, can hold lots of stuff, and still looking even remotely good.

Dunno what price you're looking to spend but Motorcycle Superstore got a Joe Rocket tail bag for $35. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...-Tail-Bag.aspx

If $35 is too steep...you got Ebay and Craigslist.

I wanted saddle bags. I have a Givi bag that sits on top of the passenger seat. I wanted to see how I could use saddle bags along with the Givi to be able to carry more stuff. Here's how I currently do my light touring;

I can't friggin remember what kind of bags I have (they're sitting at my parents house right now), but here are my saddle bags:

There are saddle bags designed for sport bikes, and they work great. I have a weekend's worth of stuff for two people in those bags - clothes, hygiene, yadda yadda.

Nice bags and they stay well clear of the pipe.
