‘02 F4i tail tidy - how to
 

Hey everyone,

Has anyone here done a tail tidy on a 2002 CBR600F4i? I’m talking about the version where the plastic license plate holder has a keyhole to unlock the compartment under the solo seat (like in the photo). I’m looking to either mount a more minimalistic license plate holder or screw the plate directly into the undertail for a more track-like look.

I made my own undertail for the yellow bike, forever ago and took the key off and put in a 'door lock actuator' that could only be used when the key was in the on position (tapped into a fuse).

I'll hunt the pics down when I get home (I'll try and remember) and post them up.

I'm getting this undertray fitted this week, which has a hole to relocate the seat lock

I have paired it with this tail tidy, which although is for a different bike, fits perfectly to this undertray due to the 2 flat mounting points
