Thanks guys, I am happy with it for the moment. Gonna wait til winter to do the rest.
The gas cap was painted with Engine Enamel spray paint, not powder coated. I am going to see how it holds up before I do the rest of the bike parts. So far I must admit I am pretty impressed with it.
Love the Overlord gloves! They are the perfect length for me and the ventilation is amazing!

I used the method of measuring the height of the bulb when installed to the bike. Then I put a piece of blue masking tape across the side of my house at that level. I slowly back away and adjusted the lights down so that all of the high beam light was below that line and most of the low beam was as well. It took few tries but I have it dialed in perfectly now. The high beam put a spot light on the road directly in front of me about 20 yards out.
Sucks that a bulb burnt out! I would suggest you check all your connections. Is it possible moisture could have gotten in there?

It's possible for sure; I was getting blasted with rain last weekend. Or I could have just manhandled it too much during the install. I think I may leave it out anyway; during the day I can ride with no lights, and at night I have the one bulb to light things up (Vegas is pretty bright in city anyway).
I tweaked it a bit to adjust the light downwards, but I should probably find a retaining clip for it - the light is kinda bouncy.

Wait, are you saying you didn't use the springy clip thing to hold the HID bulb in the housing? I slid that rubber grommet down to the end of the bulb and pinched that between the spring clip and the housing. It holds the bulb in there VERY tight! The bouncing certainly could have killed the bulb!
I will post some pics for you.
