Default 02 - anyone recommend a grab rail?

I have an 02 with split seat - as I take the missus to work each day I need a grabrail to stop her struggling during acceleration/hard braking. I see the single seat bikes have one fitted. Anyone got recommendations as the HK bike shops believe that I cant get one. Tried the Honda website and a few UK ones and cant seem to find aftermarket ones either....

Well believe it or not.....people with the (big) single seat want the split seat setup

So.....if you were willing to give up your split seats to get a grab rail & one big comfy seat.....you could actually make some money by trading your whole rear section with someone that wants to do that conversion.

The subframe, seats, pegs, tail fairing & everything will swap right over to each bike. So......just post up that you wanna trade & people will be flocking to you with offers.

That's one option anyways.

As for a grab rail for the 2001-2003's.....never seen one & it would look really outta place on those years if you ask me

I really like the look of the split and theres no chance of me swopping [8D] She will just have to hold on then....lol
I have to agree with snobrdrdan - it would look out of place - - well at least I can say I tried.....
SchiraF4I - I like her to hold on but sometimes shes a bit loose (confident pillion) and I catch her out ....

Corbin has a rear seat with a backrest. That may help.

Give her a tap on the hands when you want to accelerate kinda faster than normal..

+1. i believe fish found your best solution if she was feeling "uncomfortable" or unsafe. i bed she'd feel 10X safer with a backrest than just a grab bar

Grab rails suck. Just have her hold you around the waiste. It's safest and whatI was taught on my riding course.
