everywhere i look i see HY, H4 and other random stuff on the real bulb size for the 01 f4i ? andyone know the real size? that will fit my bike!?

 

I think they are some uncommon size like H7... I know the 900rr uses a unique H4 bulb; probably only made by honda, haha

probably best off just going to the dealer for the bulb...

 

i do want to get let the super white almost blue ones thats why i was looking for new, eventually ill get HID but for right now yeah. soooo h7?

 

yeah it is the h7 i bought a pair straight from hong kong off ebay for i think it was 4 bucks

It's not like they are hard to find or anything, any auto parts store carries it, and I know you can find HID's in that bulb type.

H4's aren't hard to find, either, same deal as the H7.

 

What do you have to remove to replace the bulbs? Just the black plastic on either side of the tank?

 

Yeah that should be enough.

 

Now is that just the 2 alen head bolts ...or is there more to it?

 

Pretty sure that's all there is to it.

I haven't messed with mine in awhile, but they will be needing to be replaced/upgraded soon.
