Default will a slipon fit on race header?

I have a 94 f2. It has the full vance and hines ss2r exhaust. I really like the danoto xg1 but its a slipon. They said it will only go on a oem header.. just wondering what's different. the diameter or length?

I'm wondering the same thing, but more so because I have a slip on from a race header I want to put on a stock header. Maybe someone can help us out here

I'm not too sure honestly as I only have OEM with a yosh slip on. But I would assume that it would be diameter

Normally you cannot put a different midpipe on a set of aftermarket headers as the outlet diameter rarely matches the OEM, also you need to make sure that exit angles are the same between the two headers. now what you can do is replace the can, little known fact (for some reason) the cans are - for all intents and purposes - are universal; the only things that need to match are the position (normally does because of the mounting point) and the outlet of the midpipe and the inlet of the can. case in point, I have a Jardine can with micron headers /midpipe, the outlet of the midpipe is 2 1/4" and the inlet of the Jardine can is 2 1/4" everything matched up. Hope it helps.
