Default When should the rev limiter cut in?

My F2 motor is running off a cbr400 cdi and I think the rev limit is at 14.500 ,
only hit it once when I missed a gear I thought after 8 years it would be
a good idea to know what the limit should be?

Thanks Broadie

I think 12,500 rpm is the limit but I am not 100% on that. Maybe 13K rpm as well. I have never had mine up that high before.

But red lining it a lot can damage the motor. I do not make that much so I will take it up to around 8500 to 9k rpm and call it good. Not everyone wants to burn up a motor.
