ok so i want to put a good ignition module on this thing, a wazoo one ... whats the best aftermarket module and where is the cheepest place to buy it ?

 

IMO...Best bang for your buck is a Dyna2000. They run around 300 bucks. Stand alone so it totally replaces your stocker. Has adjustable advance curves, bikes starts instantly, better spark (nice fat blue arc at the plugs), adjustable rev limiter, very good ignition system.

 

do you have experiance with it ? is it easy to install and tune ?

 

I bought one new for my old CBR1000F and just installed a new one on my 900RR with Blackbird motor. Installation is easy. Control unit mounts where your stock black box sits. Crank trigger and pickups are replaced with Dyna units and wiring is super easy. Comes with pretty simple instructions. Installation only takes maybe a couple of hours on your first one.

 

ok ... so where is a good place to get plug wires ? i see all the coils and plug wires on ebay ... but i dont want used stuff and the factory stuff is soo expensive !!!

 

I bought a set of Accel wires from Autozone. The 7mm wires go right into caps on stock coils.
