You are asking a Loaded question and about to start an opinion war; like the best oil to use or Ford vs. Chevy kinda questions. But I will start; I LOVE my Dunlop Q2's and wouldn't use anything else. Triple compound for commuting and grippiness in the twisties. Easily take them to track days. They are the 'Next Gen' Dunlop Qualifiers and completely revised a great tire to make it better. If any other tire was free, I would still stick with the Q2's. They are more rounded than regular 160 tires, to a 175 width look. Means wider for better traction on the side walls. I LOVE MY Q2's!!!

I have stock size Battlax BT023 tires on my bike right now. They've been on for a couple of thousand Km and still look good, no excessive wearing. I feel pretty confident in the rain too, they always seem nicely planted. They felt ok at the track too.

You kidding me? The answer is Chevy and Pilot Road 2s.

(I've heard good things about the new Q2s, though. )
