Default Warped upper engine case!

Anyone know how much material can be removed from the head gasket surface on f2 block? I can fit 6 thousands feeler gauge underneath machinist straight edge in one corner. Is this block save able? Don’t want to get it milled just to find out the valves are hitting my pistons?

@NinjaEX Hi and welcome to the forum. The shop manual doesn't have a spec for across the entire block. There is a spec for cylinder warpage of 0.004". The specification for the Cylinder Head is much greater at 0.040". I don't think that 0.006" in one corner is going to be an issue. Others may have different ideas or thoughts based on their experiences.

Are you saying It should be ok to reassemble as is? Sorry little confuse. What page is that on been looking throughout my service manual haven’t stumbled upon that yet. Would it be pointless to have machined perfectly flat?

Back in the day on race bikes, they'd take .020-.030 off the heads to bump compression and make more HP.
So .006 off the top of the block is nothing and perfectly safe.
