All fluids at the very least.

Change oil, oil filter. Drain the coolant system and replace the coolant. Check the hoses carefully for cracks.

Bleed the brake system putting fresh brake/clutch fluid through and again apply the brakes heartily and look for leaks at the seals.

Drain the fuel tank - look for rust in the tank. If there is you may have to dismantle and clean out the carbies. Check the rubber fuel lines and vacuum hoses for perishing/cracks etc.

Check fork seals for leaks - compress the forks a few times and look for weeps out the top of the dust cover/seal area.

Also check wheel bearings and head bearings.

Cheers, SB

After sitting for 9 years, there are not likely any "ifs", with regards to cleaning the carbs - unless somebody drained the bowls AND blew out all the fueling passages with air, which is highly unlikely, you're going to have some blockage... it may run, but it's probably not going to run well.

9 years... wow. honestly another thing is tires. Tires have a shelf life, and sitting in one spot significantly shortens that. Even if they look ok, unless you know they have been replaced recently, I would plan on getting those. Tires older then 5 years shouldnt be used at all. Unseen damage can occur from that age and lead to bad things. To check the year, look for the last four digits after the DOT. that whole number will be bout 10-12 digits long. You just want the last 4. They tell the week and year produced.
