I recently posted this on another thread but I'll fill all you guys in as well. I as well have been looking for the BRK15S brackets for nearly 2 years with no luck. However, last week I found some! I immediately purchased them and am awaiting delivery. SO! I know a ton of people would really appreciate the specs on these bad boys, and I will aid in your struggle. Once the brackets come in I will take the the measurements for them, develop some drawings, and give them out. That way if anyone wants to have some made up they will have the specs and can go to a local machine shop to have some made. Hopefully that will help some of you out. Being a student I probably shouldn't have spent the money but it was too good of a find to pass up.

I'll keep you all posted.

Default Thank you!

Thank you very much for that.
I believe that it will still cost a lot more than (what was it? $110.00 each?) to have the brackets made by a machine shop--especially in my area.
I am still in for one pair, if we can get interest from 9 other members.
I sure would like twin 310mm rotors up front...

If someone were to make the brackets on their own, what type and what grade of material would be recommended? Looking forward to getting the drawings/measurements.

Aluminum would be the material most likely. However the brackets have a lip on them. It's kinda hard to explain but if you look at pictures you'll understand. So without a cnc machine it would be difficult to make at home.

You can literally type the brand and part number of the brackets "ebc BRK15S" into any search engine and a bunch of pictures will appear. Or look at any of the threads talking about them that have a ton of pictures... Research! But I'll post some.

Images from JNSRacing thread for his old F2.

As far as type of material, I don't know use magnesium, or pine wood. Just think of whatever will be the strongest material you can use that isn't super expensive. Something like a 6061 alloy would be most likely.

Well when the part is in Georgia, and is being shipped to Canada, things tend to take awhile. But you know, I'm going to give FREE specs... So I suggest learning some patience and quietly waiting, because if I have to listen to you complain every step of the way then I won't even bother. I'll just get my brackets and go on my merry way.
