Default jet kit qeustions????????

i was wondering ive noticed that on the dyno jet kits you have to xpoxy the hole by the needle jet on the diaphram. what is the point in this? do you have to do it or is it optional? and whats up with the slide drilling what is the point in this?

Pure speculation, but it alters the amount of pressure caused when each cylinder intakes. You are SUPPOSED to do it, and it's extremely easy and no big deal.

Slide drilling is when you make those holes larger. It differs from application to application.

I've heard that the Factory Pro kit is a LOT better than Dyno Jet kits...

This is what I've been told by one of the best tuners in Canada:

Now some advice on your "jet kit" DO NOT go with dyno jet, you'll throw the needles away after much frustration. Order the Factory Pro kit. Yes I have their dyno, but I have installed MANY jet kits and tuned many, the FAC ones work much better.

I've got a Factory Pro jet kit in my bike, WAY better than a dyno jet kit by 1000% Factory Pro manufactures their jets better and will not wear your needle seats like dyno jet will.

I rejetted when i put a Carbon fiber Leo Vince and K&N air filter in and didn't even consider a Dynojet, i would just got for the Factory Pro, install needles, install jets, set float height, Adjust AF screws, sync carb's and be on your way. No need to drill slides and epoxy stuff

What's your basis for comparison to the Dynojet kit?

The dynojet kit did wonders for my bike so I'm big on it. I have heard from some one I respect however that they don't like Dynojet as all their jet sizes and what not are proprietary.

Default carb

I did the factory pro config 30 on my 94 f2 and the floats were not adjustable they are plastic tabs not adjustable metal ones. If you are reading a high level on your carb then check and see that the float bowl needle valve is sealing right.
