Default Intergrated tail light

Hey guys I just installed an integrated tail light. Now when I throttle up my high beam comes on and then dies down when I throttle off. Seems kinda weird pretty sure I wired it up properly. Any thoughts ?? Thx.

Sounds like your battery is a little low on voltage. Your high beam isn't actually come on, right? Your lights are just getting brighter with revs, right?

Ya the headlight brightens when I throttle up and the high beam light on inst cluster brightens up. The battery was quite low after sitting for winter had to jump it with my car so maybe it just needs a good charge

Yup, that's probably what it is.

So I gave the battery a good charge, still getting dimming om headlight at about 2000rpm. Thought maybe my battery was bad so I tried a different one still the same. Even hooked up jumpers to the car and it still does it. Really confused on this one. What else could cause this?

It wouldn't be the reg/rectifier would it? I replaced that a few years ago but that was causing the battery to die. I also read it can cause the battery to overcharge but the voltage on the battery looks normal

These bikes don't like LED. My blinkes make my taillight dim everytime they illuminate. I don't mind though. Makes me even more noticeable to have the light flash like that. When I had the stock taillight this was never an issue.
