Default Installing F3 rear wheel on F2--exactly what parts are needed?

I've searched and found a bunch of vague answers--some says it can be done but you need to buy spacers, others says it's entirely a no go. I already have an F3 rear wheel to go on my '91 and it looks like the inner diameter of the stock wheel where the axle goes through is exactly the same as the F3 wheel--6 inches. Those of you who have done this swap or are familiar with it, please chime in. I have a track day in less than a month and need to have the bike ready in time. Thanks!

The sprocket carrier and cush drive are completely interchangeable, the ONLY thing you need, in order to mount the F3 rim, is the wheel spacer used on the F3, for the brake side - then, it will just bolt right up!

You know, of course, what the F2 right-side spacer looks like, and the F3 spacer looks something, if not exactly, like this:

Great, thanks for a very helpful reply! I figured I needed something different, spacer-wise. Was just hoping I wouldn't have to have something custom machined.

I only have one extra, or I would just send you one for the cost of shipping...I have to keep one spare, though.
If I'm wrong, and I find another one, I'll send it to ya' if you need it.

are you absolutely sure is the RIGHT SIDE brake side spacer?
this part #42312-MAE-010
on this diagram: 1997 Honda CBR600F3 A REAR WHEEL | Babbitts Honda Parts House

because this spacer looks different that the picture you posted.
the one you posted looks like #4 in the diagram, which is the sprocket side spacer.

I need to know for sure! i have an f3 rim in the mail, and my tires are showing cords lol so i need to get this swap done quick when the rim gets here

THANKS!
