how do i klnow if my ICM is messed up?

There are no diagnostics that I am aware of. The only thing I've heard is swap a
known good, and see if your issue resolves itself.

If you have a factory manual, section 16 has a set of tests to run on the spark unit. page 16-6. It also has sections on isolating your problems in the ignition systems.

Like he said, easiest is to swap in a known good one. Yeesh, just looked up the replacements $500!!!! Try a salvage yard or ebay and hope.

found one for 65, I had already done all those tests I dont think it tests the actual unit but I'll look again.
