I'm almost finished fitting the aftermarket fiberglass fairings to my F2 but there's a fly in the ointment. The headlight.

There was what appeared to be a tracing of the stock headlight on the front of the top fairing. I cut it out and put the headlight on the bike and then put the upper fairing on. No fit! The top of the headlight just touches the fairing but the bottom is about a 1/2" short of touching the fairing.

My question is to those that have run into this problem.

Is it worth it to try and make my own mounts and keep the stock headlight or should I glass the hole back in and use an aftermarket headlight setup? The headlight would be tilted up some as well. There seems to be more shape to these fairings.

Next: Could you suggest some aftermarket headlights/kits?

This is about the only thing holding me up now except for getting a new windscreen. Oh, and then the rest of the bike! Lol!

Some taillight and blinker suggestions would be helpful too, I can't use any of the stock stuff now. The back end is the newer solo seat style so my stock taillight won't work besides it's all hacked up by the previous owner/s.

 

i'd glass the whole front with something that won't shatter, and then get a sick *** hid w/ halos

 

Where should I look for something like that?
