Default gsxr yoshi rs3 on cbr f2???

Ok here's the deal, I have a gsxr Yoshi rs3 slip on. Is it possible to slap that onto the f2? everything on it is OEM. Could it only be done with some fabricating or could I get another part for it to make it compatible? Thanks!:icon_h yper:

if your adding something that isnt designed for your bike, most generally your gonna have some fabbing to do. sometimes you get away with less work than other times.

your probably going to have to have a mid-pipe made or make one yourself. mock up where you want your exhaust to be with the correct support it will need. then draw a layout of where the connection to the headers and the inlet side of your exhaust is. then make a piece of pipe to connect the two. make sure you can adjust for pipe size changes somewhere. like reducing flanges or a concentric bell reducer welded into the pipe itself.

See if you can get some pics of the exhaust you intend to put on the bike. may help us visualize what is going to need to be done...

Any slip-on exhaust canister will work, it's the mid-pipe that matters (pipe that goes from the header to the muffler)

Followup question, does change to a slip-on require carbs to be re-tuned?

thats exactly what i did. since the exhaust i got (for free) was from a suzuki sv650s the midpipe that came with it was too large for my headers from my f3. so i simply purchased a (i think) 2" I.D. -> 2" O.D. exhaust pipe adapter and it fit snug as a rug on both sides. mounted her up and all is well. no fabrication required here

here is an old picture where you can kind of see what im talking about. ive circled the adapter in red lol
