I ordered a cbr900rr 5.5 rim will see if this fits on the F2. I am hoping for a perfect fit. Be nice to have a wider tire in the corners.

Check out My CBR600F2 and his evolution in the media section. He has the drawings for the spacers and machine work you need on the drive/sprocket hub. Then the 900 wheel will fit.

spacers are the easy part.. you put all the parts in the swinger (hub, sprocket, and rear caliper holder) then lay the chain, or you can use a long straight edge, to line up the front and rear sprockets (most important).. also make sure ht erim is centered along with the bike, then, using a caliper, measure the spaces between the hub to the inside of the swingarm and vice-versa on the caliper holder side...

start with one spacer and make it a little larger than you need to and slowly remove enough material so that everything lines up again and then finish by making the other side to fill the remaining space on the axle.

make sense..? lol...

btw.. can you tell me how much you had removed from the hub? I'm looking to do the same for mine and I'd appreciate getting an exact number of how much you took off... in MM please.. ;-)

Best,

Kaz

No! Not to come off as a noob, but is a spacer a simple washer??? Or where would I get these magical spacers?!
