Default Fd my bike up

So I was riding around one day and suddenly I here this "clink" and the power go away. I pull over and my chain is hanging off the front sprocket and I'm GUSHING oil. all I could think to myself is !!! So after a few frustrating hours and getting the bike home I take a look and Its not as bad as I thought but it still sucks.
My chain broke off and wrapped around the front sprocket which sheared off the bracket for the sprocket cover, but the bad part is that it hit my water pump and broke the thread hole for the bolt that holds it in. I tried to JB weld it but that didnt work, so then I make a bracket for the water pump but it doesnt hold it in all of the way so the engine doesnt get enough coolant while riding. If anyone knows how I can fix the bolt hole or where to get the part that has it on it Id appreciate it. Pics are attached and I can take more if needed. Thanks for the help

Holy **** that thing wrapped around like 5 times. That is ****ty were it broke off. Seems like you would have to split your case, and replace the bottom casing. You can get a new one off cheapcycleparts or maybe get a used one on ebay.

What ever you do, do it right. Don't do some half assed fix that will bite you in the *** later. If you gotta patch it up for a month or two to save up some cash or put her up for the Winter and fix it then, then ok but if you're going to fix it now and once, do it right. Jank offered a case so I'd take him up on it. My guess is he feels your pain and might make you a screaming deal. A little revelation for all here, the more you love something, the more upset you are when things go wrong. Don't give in to the temptation to rig it up all ghetto. Friendly advice.

Rebuilding the bottom end is going to suck. Which, I believe is what you're basically
doing, by swapping the case.

Unless you are pretty good with a wrench, you're probably getting in "over your head",
going that route. It might just be cheaper to do an engine swap.

You might be able to take it to a welding shop. Have them take a look at it and go from there.
Do you have all/most of the broken pieces?
You'd be amazed what a decent welder can do.

Sorry about your fortune. At least it didn't do that to the rear axle.
The only thing damaged was your bike. Suddenly locking up the rear-wheel can be devestating,
if it ocurrs while cornering or in heavy traffic.

Hope this helps, Ern
