f3 plastics on an f2?

Default f3 plastics on an f2?

So my F2 came with almost no plastics at all, just the belly pan, front headlight cover, front headlight cowl, and I think the one that goes over the rear tire but I'm not sure.

My bike is a 1994 (if that changes anything) and I found a guy selling an almost (missing 2 pieces) set of f3 (1995) plastics near me for ~$200. They're in alright shape too, but condition isn't really a big problem as I can repair the plastics somewhat easily and plan to repaint them all anyways. I just want to know how compatable they are onto an F2, I know people have done swaps, and I would have to do a full swap, but I would be fine with putting all F3 plastics on it.

Also, will an F3 seat work with the F2 frame, or can I keep my F2 seat with the new plastics?

Thanks a lot! I'm new to this hah

side/tail plastics bolt up in the same spots. edit - did see where you said it is 95 plastics - I think the F2 taillight will work with the 95/96 tail pieces. If not - then you'll need a f3 taillight.

The seat will work on the F3 plastics.

for the front uppers, you will need a F3 upper fairing stay and F3 headlight.

Alright, I know my bike doesn't have the original headlight cover...sorry I don't know the terms for all the plastics yet

Heres some pictures of it that the last owner took to put in the CL ad :

Any idea what headlight/headlight cover is on there? There are no gauges right now, I have some...and all the wiring, but I need to build a mount for them. I am thinking I am going to make a fiberglass housing for them, but not sure yet.

looks like a generic off road/enduro style headlight and fairing. That is not a stock F2 headlight, BTW.

It's actually not a bad looking streetfighter for as little as has been done to it.

Alright, I just want to cover it up a bit, and find a way to put gauges on it. I like the front of it, but it just looks like it's missing something in my mind, and that something is plastics! So I want to cover the sides, and the tail, and then move the exhaust to the tail as well.

Sounds like a good deal for 200 and you could throw the tail strait on, but the fairing stay and headlight might take a nice chunk out of your budget if you can't find a bargain.

I Can't tell from the pic, Is that still the f2 taillight on your bike? If not you'll need one of them aswell.
