Default F2 Split seat??

Ok so First off I wanted to make known that I have gone the hard way of doing this and I searched through the forum to find info on this but so far I have found none. I am how ever not gonna stop looking, I am just simply asking for some more friendly help once again.

I am very curious on how an F4i split seat tail would look on my F2, no I don't want to chop up my current sub frame I want a fully functional two seater for when the ol'lady wants to come on long. (until I persuade her to buy her own) So I was wondering if anyone has done such a mod before.

Here is what I want to do. I want to take my old sub frame off and bolt on an F4i sub frame, but I don't know if they will line up correctly or not. Also I was wondering if someone has done this before if they could share a few pictures of it. Because in my mind I see it flowing very nice because the F4i tail still has a lot of meat on it unlike the new rr's and that is what I want. Still keeping the front F2 look just give the *** a new look.

Basically if I have to go on a diet to look nice than so should my baby.

im actually planning the same conversion, but im instead going to use a r1 subframe.. My plan is to cut the old subframe off and weld some brackets to the frame that bolt on to the new subframe.. As of right now all i have is the r1 subframe and some thoughts on paper :/

Ya see the most modifications I want to do is make brackets so I can easily bolt on with no problem but still have to do more research.

So I think for the most part I am gonna call it quits for wanting to put an F4i tail on at least for now. So now I am just gonna look for an F3 98 tail to put on it would be a little better looking.

Only reason why I am putting the split seat idea off is because I walked out to my garage today and finally realized that the F2s sub frame is welded on and me being an idiot thought it was bolted on. So until I take welding classes and or until I get the equipment so I can at least practice first this project will be put on hold.

Which leads me to my next question anyone who has done this conversion before what is all that I need to do it properly?
