Ok so a buddy of mine ordered some chinese fairings and installed them today. The fitment is ok at best. Does any have experience with these that could give some pointers on how to get them to fit properly. Mainly the gas tank cover. It sits on top and when bolted in, the gas cap shows the old tank but its uneven around. I'll try to post some pics to explain my point, but if you read this and got your plastics on properly...please give up some tips =) thanks all

 

The first tip i would have given you was not to get the cheap chineese knockoffs. After having 6 bikes, and joined almost every forum. These types of threads are in mass amounts all over the boards. With that said. Use your lesson and make a post for others to learn.


But i will help, post some pics, maybe it can be tweaked a bit or a small amount of fab work could solve your issue.
