a 170 will handle better then the 180 but i was thinking a 160 came stock on the bike ..... what ever is stock is what i'd go back to ....... when i need tires and that will be real soon i'm going back stock ......... you wanna sell that bike ????? i'd like to have it

Angry ...

well i basically cleaned it, they were gummed up bad, found out my bike has a actory pro jet kit, with 138 jets. all the carb boots were loose, after thouroughly cleaning it i put bike bck together and run worse thank before, so took it back apart and recleaned it, and the pilot jets were pretty much clogged thts prolly why it was so hard to start and idled crappy and ran crappy below 1/4 throttle. well im guessing it wasnt flooding it was mt float bowls leaking. cuz it is still doing so i havnt put carbs ack on im goin to honda in the morning and gonna try and get me some float bowl gaskets, and im gonna test the carbs before i put em back on to make sure it dont leak. this is starting to get frustrating. so if it still runs bad i might adjust my fuel air screws, but i have to go get a tool. but so far my bike is totally not running now. so hopefully after tomorrow it will be up and going again. hopefuly thos gaskets arent tht much. but on th eplus side im gonna order tires tomorrow. an dif these carbs keep pissing me off im just gonna buy a total diff set of carbs

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^= probably the worst advice i have ever heard given about carbeurators and tuning. first of all, if you do not have a manual, i would suggest one. secondly... if you go on www.worldofpowersports.com, they have full microfiche system for these bikes. you can use this to verify the placement of any bonus parts that you may have after a job. third.... carb syncs arent hard... just do your homework and make sure that your timing and valve adjustments are in specs or else it would have been all for nothing. lastly... there are tons of trusted people on this forum that can answer almost all of your questions. i would not suggest taking the first answer that sounds good, you may end up with a broke bike thanks to one of the fake experts. the search will be your friend. good luck. pm me if you have any other questions.
