I never even noticed that because I always just take the whole thing off the bike. I hate trying to tinker with it on the bike. Thanks!

Great tutorial. Worked flawless. I have a very dumb question. I've cleaned the carbs, got it back together and started the sync process. Found the ports, engineered some screw in adapters for #3 and #4, and am ready to sync. Where the hell are these screws I adjust for the carbs. Not the d shaped, the actual adjusting screws. I've heard they are spring loaded and they are in between the carbs.. Help please..track day this weekend..

Between the carbs and the valves on the intake of the engine. They are little screws and 1 intake has just a rubber nubby.

Takes me around 45 minutes. If you have to take floats off to get to the needles, maybe another 15 minutes. Since you are new at it and you shouldn't be rushing around, I would say give yourself 2-2.5 hours so that you can tinker without being rushed.

Sounds good. Ill clean the carbs when i clean the tank since ill have all the gas out and everything. Another dumb question that ive been looking for and cant find but is there only one carb or multiple? I know my old 250 dirtbike only has the one but a street bike is much different. Or atleast i think. lol

VERY NICE NICE writeup, but it doesn't ACTUALLY contain info on tuning, other than what to adjust on the needle. Can you provide insight on that? Which way do we move the clip to get what effect?
