Carb sync - vacuum connection point?
1991 F2
I'm not seeing the same thing as shown in the shop manual, or I'm just not seeing where the four vacuum hoses are connected. I see what looks like a vacuum port on the bottom of each carb. Is that it?
The Honda manual says there is a rubber cap on the carb to be removed and I'm not seeing it. Here's a couple photos of my carb front and back.
The Haynes manual says there are 4 screws on the cylinder head that must be removed to attached the adapters. Not seeing those either.

Those are your float bowl drains.
The place to check pressure actually isn't on the carbs, it's on the head of the motor, just past the carbs. Pretty much right where the carb boots connect to the head of the motor. There's nibs there with rubber stops and clips holding them on. Connect your carb synch tool there and adjust away!

I went to the Honda dealer and paid the $7 ish to buy 2 more vacuum ports. I then removed the screws permanently and left the ports in there with capped vacuum hose, although I also bought the Honda vac caps and will be installing them next time I'm down there as my hoses are constantly in the way.
