Default Carb parts Question

What is the part that is #1 in the picture and where can I get another one if its needed.

It goes to some kind of filter/breather thingy. I popped mine apart and the orange filter in there was totally shot. It just crumbled to pieces. Went to Wal-Mart bought a lawn mower filter and cut it to fit. You could probably get the hose a Ron Ayers or Cheap Cycle Parts or your stealership.

Like Frank said, it's another air filter item - it's called the Sub Air Cleaner - that tube is about $8 from a dealership.

Sweet. Well bike build on hold now.. damn brake fluid poring on my foot in my car now. AAAHAAHHH!! thx again for the help.

Doty, I know this is an old thread, but regarding what we've been talking about, I wanted to give you a reference for identifying your jet needles.

I'm not sure if this is precisely what the Factory Pro and stock needles for the F2 look like, as it's been some time since I had the carbs apart but they're really darn close, and give the general idea:
