Carb cleaning questions. Please help
I hope my thread helps you out a bit, it should have everything pretty clear in it.
Search. LOL Definetly giving someone a hard time. Then a temper tantrum about how nobody searches before they post. LOL Must have went out and had a smoke eh? Realized how much of a pompus you sounded like.
And I stand by what I said. Too many people come to this site and ask the same question over and over again..."my bike won't start", "how to clean my carbs", "what can I clean carbs with"...it makes this place like a help line...it's boooooring.
LOL Thats what online forums are for. If you're looking for a general chat forum to be chummy chummy thats what the general discussion forum is for.
It might have to do something with the way I am. I like to know how things work and hate "half" answers.
I know to clean it with carb cleaner. duh. I was looking for tips such as the one I found on another site that recommended to use a wire from a twist-tie to clean the jets. And thats what I was looking for with this thread.
I would love to know how each hole connects to another on the inside to help me visualize how this thing works in the first place.
From what I can deduct from hundreds of posts I looked at is that main jet and needle jet (the two removable jets) somehow merge together and come out of the hole that the needle goes into once everything is assembled. What is the best way of clearing this whole channel? Is there a way to run something all the way through, like a string or something?
I think that the third jet somehow connects to the circled holes in question 7. I just don't understand why there are 4 of them.
I also think that these for holes are used for air and not fuel since they are in the airway. Is that correct?

You're too lazy to use google for your answers, and I'm too lazy to use google to find pictures to answer your questions.
Guess you'll just have to figure it out or wit around for a caffeinated kid to come by...

I'll take people laughing and considering me a total noob when it come to this. I am ok with it cause it's true. It is a lot harder to find answers when you dont know the questions. And as useless as this thread may seem it has been extremely beneficial to me.
