ok, just got this bike, 93 CBR 600 F2, since purchase I have put a Stator, and a rectifier in it. Everything was going great for about a month or so, and then the bike just shut off. The battery is new, still hase a charge, however it will not turn on, nothing will, no lights NOTHING!!!!!
Does anyone have any ideas on to what this could be. I jsut downloaded a service manual for it,However I am not to sure on what it could be. Ground wire, who knows.
Thanks for you responces. Thanks.
Jason

Ok, yes, it was a 30 amp main fuse, but what caused that to go out. The bike is NOT staying charged again, it has a new Stator, and a new rectafier. The stator was purchased from a bike shop in STL, but the rectafier was purchased off of E-bay Directly from Hong Kong. Before it was killing the fuse I was getting 12.5 amps when it was running at 5000 RPM. So isn't this kinda low for a charging system?
I do know this, when I plug the rectafier in it pops the main fuse, has anyone ever had this problem?
Thanks. Jason

hi friend, you shold check all the wiring system maybe you have any wire shorted with ground.
and maybe you mean 12.5 volts? not amps, in service manual shows a test to check the drained amps. if you have 12.5 volts at 5,000 rpms thats why your battery is not charging, the bike need 14.5volts to charge
