Anyone know how to uncrimp a radiator
Hey again yall,
Its almost motorcycle season, again, or who knows i live in ohio where the weather is 85 one day and snowing the next. Anyways, almost finished my build however back last year when i didn't know crap about motorcycles i bought a radiator that was bent in at the lower outlet port to replace a radiator that was completly cracked.... not sure which one is worse now, anyway, is there anything i can do to make that outlet port a circle again instead of a pinched condom lol.
Le above radiator you can see the bend... shoulda known better....

Bend it back with channel locks the best you can, the put the largest socket you can fit it there and work it around with an extension. Gradually use larger sockets until its fairly round.
Or, take them to a radiator shop and they can switch the tanks for you.
