That sucks, man... and I was going to ask where you got it, and at what price, but... don't think so now.
Some cheap knock-offs work out, but with electronics, I'm thinkin' usually it's of benefit to cough up the increased coins for the real deal!

For what it's worth, though, I hope they don't screw you around, and do get you a replacement, and right fast!
Hopefully you won't have any further issues, and it will yield accurate data, when you get it all sorted!

 

I don't want to threadjack, subyman, but CJardine, how are you diggin' youre RX-2N? Are you using a sprocket sensor and speedo healer setup, or are you using a sensor on the front wheel? If you are using a magnetic sensor on the front, have you had a chance to test for MPH accruacy at all?

 

will that tach work for the f2??? thats a whole hell of a lot cheaper than the f4i tach
