You'll have to fabricate the mounting points and stuff - making brackets out of steel or aluminum channel or angle iron.

There is no one way to do it, as everyone fabricates their stuff a little differently based on their skill and tools and what they have laying around for materials. Read through a couple of the fairing swap threads and look at the pictures posted - should give you a starting point.

i have a 92 f2 and put a 03 cbr rr rear tail fairing on it and looks sick te bike is still in mock up, but came out sick, you need to cut the rear of the frame off and get 1inch tubing if you grind the edges slightly it will slip in tight with a hamer and bend the tubes once there welded, i used 1 inch with a .25 wall for the strenght. then you need to make mounts for the front its not hard you just need to be willing to go for it, once you cut it your commited, you need a inegrated tailight, a rear seat cover and also need to be willing to cut you stock seat id post pics for ya but i cant figure out how to

where the box is that you write in, theres a little picture above, a square, kind of a yellow scene with a mountain in front of it???

Well, upload your photo to photobucket or any photo hosting website, itll give you an image url. click that box, a pop up box will appear and copy the url link into that pop up box and itll upload the picture for you.

Please do this! i really wanna see how you did this as ive bought the same items and now im scratching my head as to what to do!

An 04-05 1000RR tail will fit without cutting the fairing or subframe. However, you will need to make custom mounts for the 4 brackets that hold it up. If you want, I can take pics of my tail swap once I get home. Btw, mines a bit sloppy but it gets the job done lol. The R/R does get in the way. So I only have 3 of the 4 mounts on.

Post some pics man. I have a 04 1000rr tail that I want to use for my bike. How did you attach the rear seat? Did you buy the latch and all or what did you do?
