check ohms on ignition coils, and plug all harnesses, i removed all the wire and clean with dielectric liquid, but check test on service manual, and check the spark plug wires, maybe is too old and you need to change it. start with this, if ignition coils are ok, maybe the CDI is operating wrong.

Dealt with a problem like this for the last year. Always one header was cold compared to the other three. Clean carbs, sync, make sure plugs are good, make sure you are getting good gas flow, (did I mention clean carbs?). Good luck and please post what your solution was and what you encountered!!!!

ya cleaned the carbs really good want to get it running a bit better before i sync sometimes it runs good other times not. put new plugs in definatly getting spark and definatly getting gas just not firing. same thing one cold header when i start it someetimes its worse than others ran really bad after it got rained on so after my daughter goes back to her mom im gonna pull all the wires and do an ohms reading on them also going to do a compresion test while im in there. will definatly post up the end solution.

Will be looking for that update! I hope you nail it quickly. If only to save yourself the frustration of weeks passing and not being able to figure it out. Oh wait, that was me. Seriously though, on mine things got better when I sync'd them after cleaning, cleaning and re-cleaning. Thank God for fuel line quick disconnects.
