You need to describe your problem in more detail if you expect anyone to help.

When it turned off after 5min what did it do/sound like/feel like? Do your electrics work? bright headlight? Have you tried to start it since then? was engine hot/cold?

I had the vacuum line that runs the petcock come off last week and that stopped my bike from running (felt like it ran out of gas but had full tank). Easy enough to put the vacuum line back on once I pulled the gas tank off and saw it hanging loose.

Vacuum line as in the two run off tubes hanging from the bottom of the tank? That will stop the bike from running?

I was detailed. I worked for 4 hours so it was off for 4 hours. Just got the battery checked and it was at 12.89vdc. Checked the charging system: drops to about 10.6+vdc then goes back up to about 13.4+vdc just got to work early to check on it and it would do the same as yesterday...I will add a video as soon as I load it to YouTube. Thank you for ur reply

sounds like a fuel problem but im just guessing, you could always take your tank off and try starter fluid? Is your petcock turned to ON with choke on?

maybe try reeving it the same time you hit the starter switch

Yes, the petcock is ON with the choke all the way down.... Tried reving it with same results. The previous owner put some off that additive in the tank after the carbs were cleaned....thanks for the input

It could be an ignition problem.. you could always pull your plugs out and rest them on the head to see if they're all firing, maybe you flooded your engine and fouled them.

since your checking your fuel lines anyways you might as well check the filter will your at it, you have to pull the tank off though. make sure the petcock is turned off though. Don't think it'll pour out without engine vacuum anyways though I don't remember off the top of my head but yeah thats what I would do first, 2 bird with 1 stone kinda thing
