Default WTB Oil Pan plzkthx

/sigh

Couldn't torque the oil drain plug down. Took it back out and the threads did look a little damaged, but not too bad. Bought another plug just in case. Still couldn't torque it down. My guess is the threads on the pan are hosed up.

Unless somebody can tell me how to fix this... I am really tempted to put it back together with JB weld and search for a new pan and deal with it when I change the oil again...

Use the JBweld and re-tap the threads ... or just throw in a helicoil.

I have a thread repair kit. Not helicoil "brand" but the same thing. I am going to try that tonight. Just trying to figure out all my options.
