The gold is just pait but has held up for over 3 years now with 0 flakes!!
they are mounted to the underside of the taillight!!

own this past week and scarred up the left side and broke my left clipon
its a acrylic enamel from The Restoration Shop, a eBay company. Would highly recommend them to anyone!
