Last fall I lined up next to what look like a pretty heavy cruiser-esque bike. I flipped up my visor and hollared lets go. He said "What!?" I held up three fingers and yelled "3!" reached for the clutch and counted two and one. Well, as the story would have it I kinda got my *** handed to me on my cbrF2. By the time He hit second gear he was maybe 15 feet in front of me. Well the shame came in the fact that by the time I hit second gear he was close to twenty yards in front of me.

Moral of the story: don't bite off more than you can chew. It just might eat you alive.Lol

Now being the small world that it is, I got a job the week after this. The guy I raced turned out to be new boss.

I was at our local drag strip Saturday and there was an 03 V max running the quarter mile. They are fast! I cant remember his times but it seems he was around 11.5 125mph. Would have been better if he would have speed shifted. Definitely a sleeper!

 

this happened out on the track or out on the streets?

 

country road. They are quick but they wont do much faster than 130 ive been told

A Vmax a sleeper? What rock have you guys been living under? Bonafide 10 second bikes since '85, the guy riding it at the dragstrip certainly hasnt spent that much time launching it if he only ran a 11.5. Damn I'll run 11.4s all day on my F4i.

 

basically thats what happened. lol. I was out riding with a buddy of mine on a one cyl suzuki 500 or 650. We sort of ended up riding as three. It felt good for him to see me get walked all over tho cuz i had been stomping him all day.lol.
