I got 7.20s on an all stock 600 F3. Keep practicing, especially your launch. I'd start around 7k and go from there. Get to WOT a s a p. By the time your clutch is allthe way out you should be @ WOT

got my new 08 cbr 1000rr to the track - all it has is a slip on. it ran 6.60 at 115 in the 1/8mi! not bad for a new bike with only 300 miles on it.

 

Ok yeh... I am launching just fine guys, I used to run 7 flats on my f3... If you race 600's you have no clue how hard it is to keep the front wheel down on a 1000... I get about 200 ft from the 1/8th and my wheel comes back up.. I miss drag racing my 600..

 

good point. 1st time I rode a 1k was quite shocking compared to me 600s. Keep in mind I was 16 and ~125# lol

 

yea the 954 comes up in 1st through 3rd HARD... i hate that. i ran my buddys 600 gsxr and it NEVER came up, and i left like a 8k
