Yes, it wouldn't matter. The Bugatti pulls the entire time it's got the accelerator pressed. There is no way that the 929/954/1000R would beat it in a race unless it was, and this is a maybe, an 1/8 mile or 60ft.

Just my opinion though...I don't own a Bugatti...

Well, I think the debate here is wether a f4i/954/1000 would win in a 1/8 or 1/4 because there's no doubt anything after that, the bugatti would demolish the biker. Or Let's even say that the bike was a stretched and modded busa??? That would be something fun to watch!!

So what happens to the 1000RR on full throttle?
Does it just stop pulling in the 1/4mile?

The Bugatti is a Mid 10's 1/4 mile, while the 1000RR is a flat 10s.

I would give it to the Bike, although just after that 1/4 line the bugatti would be gone.

Ya, that's possible for sure. But you can set up any race so that a specific vehicle will win it, or any competition for that matter. Keep backing up the length of the race and I'm sure the bike would win! LOL

It's a fun scenario though, that's for sure. And if we were to talk about road race track times, the motorcycles, ANY of them, don't stand a chance.

Interestingly enough, my 1125R would beat the 1000R in a 1/4 mile....guys (better than I) are running them at 9.8 completely stock. I'm not a drag race guy though, so it doesn't matter to me really. Though, sprint races have "drag race" like starts...something I need to work on!

Whew - you all were initially talking about a 100RR taking on a Bugatti. Not even a close race there. I don't even think they made a 100RR.

However, a 1000RR is a different story. A stock '09 1000RR ran a 9.68 1/4 mile in a magazine test. Seems that's about a full second faster than the car.

Those damn people that invented the 1/4 race just so that the bike in this dicussion would beat the bugatti.

And actually backing up the length of the race is just giving the bugatti more of an advantage.

These times are all over the place, LOL

Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron lap times and specs - FastestLaps.com

That site has different times than I've been seeing...wonder what it really does in the 1/4.

Though, regardless of that, I'd take the new Nissan GTR of a Bugatti any day of the week.

The Bugatti is a guarantee? Being 0.2s behind in 0-60mph and 0.1s behind in the 1/4mile is definetly down to the driver.

Is everyone that goes to the track able to hit the exact same time ever single trip down the track?

you're reaching and 2 tenths is alot to gain or lose homie
