Default First time in the 8's

Sunday afternoon 112 degree heat index 5th round the other guy red light, I saw it and laid into it. had .039 reaction 60ft was a awful 1.50, picked the front wheel up almost all the way thru 1st gear. picked it back up in 2nd, ran 5.81 1/8 mile front end was bouncing all the way thru 2nd and 3rd gear. made it into 5th gear and crossed the line at 8.97 @154mph!!!! Could'nt stop shaking for 10 min!! Man what a ride

i normally run the 1/8 and 1000ft tracks. this was the first 1/4 mile track i have been on. have to change the gears, only made into 5th gear at the finish line..

bustin down that time a little more last sunday. ran 5.72 @ 127.59 in the 1/8 and 7.29 @143.59 in the 1000ft. Thats .26 sec off the 1/8 mile time. still had a soft 60ft time at 1.458. working on the clutch and shock this week, going for 7.20 next sunday! Hey Bindel, how has the TT coming?

dang it ! smokin crack again! my wife logged in on me agian! sorry. .026 reaction time and .09 off 1/8 mile

been raining too much to get to the track but i have the bike tore apart and the 900RR almost in it...

Sounds like fun! let us know how it turns out. Hey steveooses, what do you mean too small. after the first gear change all you have to do basically is hold on. most of your time is gained or lost in the first 100 feet. the smaller tracks help me focus on that. no time to screw up or you loose. I was stuck at 6.0 in the 1/8th until i stopped focusing on the end numbers and started working on my 60ft and 330 times. now i gottem down to 5.72.
