Default Extended Swingarm?

Whats about the longest you can go and still be streetable? I dont do any twistie riding but I do commute about 60 miles to work on a regular basis. My trip to work is all highway. I am about to order a swingarm and just need some input on length. By the way its for a 06 1krr.[/align]

why do you want it? for looks, the strip or what?

i have a +10" and i want a 6 or 8.. 10 is just too much for anything it will keep the front down for sure but at the strip there is no weight on the rear tire..

It would be for the strip, but I still need to be able to ride to work during the week. My ride to work is 30miles but itsmostly straight highway.I wasthinking about doing a +6 with bolt on extensions to use at the track and just have 2 rear wheels and 2 chains.

i would do a solid 6" extensionand be done with it..i dont like or trust the bolt on extensions,i haven't seen it done butthe last thing thati would wantis to launch off the line and have one snap, i dont know if it has happened but i just like the piece of mind.. but 6" is fine for everyday riding and good for the strip..

extensions SUCK. I had one break on a launch. I have an 8in. fixed extension on mine and I love how it rides and I get a lot of compliments on how the stretch looks good on the bike. not too long but noticeably stretched. the six looked good too but the 8 compliments my 900RR well. in my opinion anything over 8in. is for show anyway.
