RE: Drag Times. Post em up here
11.348 is my best time so far...100% stock.
Plenty of 11.4's and 11.5's...Even with 1.9 60" times... Having a huge problem keeping the front end down...
Whatlowering straps do you recommend for an 05 F4I?? This is posted up for a 1000RR. Can't find anything F4I specific.. Will this work?

RE: Drag Times. Post em up here
Well guys another night out for for test and tune and solved the problem spinning out of the hole but now my 06 CBR with 6 inch extended swingarm is now pulling the frontwheel up about 2 1/2 feet out of the gates, got to find a happy medium somewhere. So that it doesn't spin at the launch nor pull the tire up so high. I tryed a front drag strap and it seemed to help a little but front end still comes up on me pretty good. any suggestions on where to go next. I was told add a little more air pressure to my rear tire and try not to come out of the hole at such a high RPM, sounds logical to me but what do you think??? Here is the latest track time from last night.

I'm no expert on motorcycle dragging, so I can't give much advice but adding more tire pressure won't help any. I used to race a mustang that had a huge tire spinning problem. Dropped the pressure to 25 P.S.I. cold and it helped eliminate about 75% of the spinning........ I had 4 tires on the mustang and didn't mind if I wrinkled them a little bit because I could always buy another one if it caused any issues.. I don't know if I would want to cause that sort of wear on a street driven motorcycle tire???

RE: Drag Times. Post em up here
Thanks for the help, I am running a 190/50ZR17 SHINKO R003 Stealth rear tire. It is pretty good for street and track use and new is only around $120 So I dont have really any problem with tearing it up a bit. On the first night out at the track I was running with about 18 psi and even after a good 3 to 4 second burnout tire would spin baddly out of the hole. On the 2nd night out at the track I dropped the air pressure to about 8 to 10 psi and after a good 3 to 4 second burnout now tire would grip great and cause the front of the bike to pull 2 1/2 to 3 ft off the ground to where I would have to let off the throttle for just a split second before nailing it again. Thats why I thought that it sounded alright I guess to add a little more air pressure to the rear tire and maybe find a happy medium so that the tire still wouldnt spin wildly, but not launch the front of the bike up into the air. any more advise guys would be greatly appreciated. And believe me I will try at least on pass with the replys that arnt to far fetched, and keep you posted on times and let you know the results of each.

I think the key is to get to the pressure where you have no more spinning issues. Once that goal is acheived you probably shouldn't be looking for a partial spin/partial wheelie pressure, rather keep the pressure to the maximum where it won't spin and learn how to control the bike to keep from wheeling to hard via clutch/ throttle control...Again, I'm no expert, that's just my .02
