what kind of bike to do you have?! you'll def want to do a conversion on your sprockets.. -1/+2 is what I bought but I dont really know what to tell ya about eating gixxer 1000's

1/8th mile is more about rider and good 60 ft times. Sprockets will certainly help -1 +2 or -1 +3 should give you a lot more ooomph off the line. I don't like going -2 on the front because the chain radius gets so small. So practice, practice, practice and your 1/8th times will be awesome.

bike? are you strapped down? I'd say -1 +2 would treat you well.

I have an 04 600rr and I eat up busa's all the time in the 1/8 mile. It usually does come down to the rider though. gsxr1K's I usually have a problem with..... 929's are nice but you wont really get any where with one in a straight line. Un less you plan on dummping a ton of money into it.

i have an 01 929 with a full hindle exhaust, pc 3, k and n, 2up in the back 1 down in the front sprockets, ive never had it on the track and i dont encourage street racing but i have run on the street and i ususally dont have problems with any stock/lightly modded1000s or busas from light to light (i have 4 years and about 20,ooo miles on this bike and i know how to launch it) but as far as the highway goes from like 130 plus they walk the dog on my *** i cant seem to keep up lol, mabey some nitrous will take care of that.

-1 +2 will help your 1/8 mile but will kill your 1/4 mile is the bike stretched, lowered? Your best and cheepest bet is gonna be nitrous. I had my bike stretched and lowered and my gears are -1 +2 and i have bmc filter, new plugs, power commander, moto gp extreme exhaust. But if you run a busa or a gxsr 1k with the same work your not gonna do anything with them if you wanna outrun a busa orgsxr 1k buy a 04-05 zx-10r and learn how to ride it i'm just being realistic and dude with the 600 that outruns busa's all the time yeah get real you can tell that shiz to someone else only way your outrunin busa's with a 6 is they really really dont know how to ride you bring your 6 to the track i go to wantin to run a busa your gonna get your feelings hurt

i dont think hes bull****tin, you can beat a busa in the 1/8 with a modded 600 provided that the busa is stock, now beating a busa in the 1/4 is somethin else, and if it has any mods like gearing or power adders then you better bring a liter bike with mods. just my two cents
