929 vs WS6 VS Z06
OK I KNOW ITS NOT A SMART THING TO DO AND THIS IS THE ONLY TIME IVE DONE IT AND WILL DO IT BUT IVE GOT TO TELL THIS STORY.
sO WHILE I WAS HOME IN TEXAS I WAS CRUISING AROUND ON THE 929 AND I GOT HIT BY A RED LIGHT WELL AT THIS RED LIGHT WAS A WS6 T/A AND A ZO6 I COULD HEAR THEM REVVING THEIR MOTORS I LOOKED AT THE GUY IN THE Z06 AND HE REVVED AT ME WELL ME COMING FROM THE MUSTANG WORLD KNEW WHAT THAT MEANT I CLIPPED MY VISOR ALL THE WAY DOWN AND MADE SURE THE BIKE WAS IN 1ST WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN THE TWO CARS TOOK OFF SMOKING TIRES AND ALL BUT ME I TOOK OFF NICE AND SLOW, I FINALLY ROLLED THE THROTTLE AND LET THE BIKE UNWIND I CAUGHT UP TO BOTH CARS AND PAST THEM WITH A BIG GRIN ON MY FACE HAPPY TO WIN A RACE IN THE BIKE WELL I TURNED OFF AND THE GUY IN THE WS6 FOLLOWED ME AND HE WOULDN'T LEAVE ME ALONE TILL I RACED HIM SO AT THE NEXT RED LIGHT I DID THE SAME THING AND WELL IT FELT GOOD ONCE AGAIN. i NEED TO TAKE THE BIKE TO THE TRACK THOUGH ITS SMARTER AND SAFER

Ws6's are not uber fast unless they have a good amount of modifications. The z06 depending on what year can run in the 11's stock but that's with a really really good driver. I seen a z06 get beat at the track vs a escort wagon with a klze motor in it. I wish I had that picture still. Guy couldn't drive and most people can't.

My Dad just got a 2010 corvette coup (Ls3) not zo6 - it seemed pretty friggin fast when I drove it the other day. How bad would it spank my F4? Guesses? Not much chance of us ever taking it to the track.

Cool story. Its always nice to put the cars in there place. 
Just don't run a a Black twin turbo 2005 GTO in the south. I ran him from a 60 mph roll I stayed ahead of him until about 140 mph. He was right next to me then at 150 mph he had me by 3 cars and was pulling away strong. I backed off and he slowed down. He pulled over and said he had just put the turbos on and still needed to dyno it. We then pulled out on the highway and went from a dead stop. I killed the GTO from a dead stop. He could not get traction. In all it was fun. Every now then there is always a sleeper that will get you.

In high school I had a '67 Chevelle... it ran low 13's but it had 3:73's and a 3500 stall with 10.5inch drag radials so I'd smoke every bike off the line b/c I could launch hard but they would blow by me once they hit 2nd.

i was ridin my 1000f around town today and a charger srt8(new one) and a corvette were next to each other, revvin up and all. then they took off, the corvette got off a bit faster than the challenger, so then i followed and got in the challengers lane and passed the corvette.....i know its not safe but what they heck, once isnt gonna hurt.

a few years ago in orlando me on my 08 650r, and my buddy on a stock 07 R1, pull into the lot where the fast cars hang out on sat. night. immediately a guy says "which one of yall wants to get beat by a camaro" im well aware that my 650 would get beat so my friend says what ya got? guy says an iroc body style camaro with a 383 on spray. we go look....hes running 10in. slicks on the street. so we get this down to a friendly race. i lined up with them for a chase just to watch. they left me horribly, when we got back to the lot my buddy said he had a bus length on him at 160ish when they backed off.......thats a fast friggin camaro if you ask me. best car-bike race ive seen
