Default Redoing rims

Ok, I'm repainting my bike and the yellow rims won't work. I need to do something with them but what? I'm restricted by keeping the tires on the rims because of the PITA of getting them taken off and put back on.

So how can I do this? Repaint? Sand and polish? How best to go about it?

reconcider polishing, bro that is so much work , and it dont stop, youll constntly have to repolish, PO of my 900RR did that and then tried to clear coat them and what a mess. ive spent hours tryin to remove clear coat that yellowed and repolish and still it does not look great. Im lookin to powder them soon. Buyin my 929 slowed progress on my 900, but when i get the chance ill do it right no matter what kind of PITA it is. paint will be prone to chippin, but if i were you and just had to do it , kuro i would paint not polish. the polishing will never end. peace

i was considering just stripping the paint on mine and painting the spokes leaving the lip metal... those look pretty cool as long as you keep em clean
