I don't know about "plege" but here's a Pledge Thread.

Why not just use regular wax? If you do use it, cover your seats and grips, that thing is SUPER SLIPPERY! Been on my **** from straight legs a few times when I have used it to polish different little things, walked out of the room, back in and on the patch of the stuff that has fallen onto the floor... You DO NOT want ANY of it on your stool...

Yes, Pledge has been discussed more than a few times & is perfectly ok to use on your bike. Here's a recent thread...https://cbrforum.com/forum/detailing...-bikes-116453/.

RoadiJeff linked to the thread where I posted the video from Pledge clearly showing their reference to cleaning/polishing motorcycles.

So you understand... Basic Pledge is not a wax, its a polish. See my post #29 in that thread. There is a description & pics. Many use it as a less expensive substitute for Honda Polish, Plexus, etc. Plus, it leaves a nice lemony smell. ;-)

If you actually want to "wax" your fairings, any good quality wax will suffice for the job. I often use a cleaner-wax on my fairings. Then, use polishes like Pledge/Honda Polish/Plexus as maintenance bwtn more thorough detailing jobs.

Pledge also works good to get slung chain lube off of the wheel. Just spray it on a rag or paper towel and wipe away.
