to clean em use wd-40

 

Ok, it may sound wierd but try it. What really works to get grease out of a painted surface is just any brand bbq pit igniter fluil(lighter fluid). My wheels have a pearl orange paint and everytime I lube the chain, it gets all over the wheel and you'll be surprised how good this stuff works.

P. S. If you have any doubts of damaging your paint; try it in a small area first, just so you can observe its work.

 

I use WD40 as well. When I clean my chain I clean my rims.

+1 on the WD40 - then just good old fashion soapy water

 

I use goof off, then warm soapy water. wipes the **** right off
