Default Gloss or Flat Black????

It's going to be blacked out...but now the question...

Gloss or Flat Black????

It's a work in progress and I'm trying to decide whether I want to go with gloss or flat black. Originally I was thinking all gloss black but I've gotten a lot of comments on the flat black and the more I look at it the more the flat black grows on me in contrast with the gloss wheels and exhaust. Also, the front of the tail will be molded into the front of the stock F2 tail and I have carbon fiber frame slides and levers still to install.

This is it it right now.

I also just though of this...If I go flat black, what about using truck bed liner? Flat black with a little bit of texture.

flat all the way! Dont use bed liner. Most of those are heavy and theirfore you will be putting weight on...

flat black is played out

rino liner wont add enough weight that you'll notice....you could do some cool designs with the rino liner then throw on a semi gloss coat over that

It looks exactly like flat black like above... just you can write all over it and take a hose to it after and it washes right off... i dont know if i have any pics of it written all over... let me check... i didnt take much pics of my bike since i have so many projects going on with it

i like the the chalkboard paint idea. i bet it looks pretty sweet. have you thought about using some glos and some flat? Not to imitate, but I work w/ a guy with a Harley NightRod special. It's flat black w/ gloss black racing stripes. looks nice. You could even do two tone; one flat and one gloss. Just an idea.

Why would you put racing stripes on a Harley?
