Default Corbin Gunfighter Seat for re-uhpholster

I picked up this Corbin Gunfighter + Lady seat with the intention of sending it to Corbin to be rebuilt, until Corbin told me they wanted $240 to rebuild it, YIKES!

I figured one of you guys would be better equipped to fix it than I am.

The pan is solid, cover is shot but the foam is in ok condition.

Fits 90 Hurricane, but may fit later bikes.

I'm thinking $40.00 plus shipping. Make me an offer.

Best bet is to take it to a marine upholsterer , Buddy of mine did just that and for 145
bucks had a better job done than the original corbin factory one - I have two corbins
and in my opinion their own actual upholstering quality leaves A LOT to be desired !

Of course they do have that "send it back if it ain't perfect" warranty
but when you figure in shipping etc - you can get it fixed or reupholstered
locally just as cheap and better - imo

I took it to an upholsterer yesterday and he is going to redo it for me. I was really quite surprised that he is going to do it for $120.00.

I picked out black Carbon Fiber tops with smooth black side and red piping.

It's going to be AWESOME!

Will do.

Once I get it back I'll have a factory black seat available to sell! (The black one I currently have on the bike, I'm keeping my blue one in storage)

$240 from Corbin !! - Pfffft
Charging based on their name I suppose, not the value of the job.
$120 - much more like it, and no postage
That's going to look excellent, Ranchome.
As Sprock says, pics please.

I haven't checked on it yet, meant to today but got sidetracked. Hopefully I'll remember to on Monday.
