Headers or full exhaust system (1990)
Hi there,
I'm looking for a 4-to-1 headers for my 1990 cbr1000f (mine got rusted), or the entire exhaust system. There are a few on ebay right now, but they are listed for either an 87-88 model, or for a 93-96 model. Does anybody knows if one of these will fit a 90 model?
Thanks!
Javier.

I wouldn’t bother with just the headers mate. You’ll end up chasing your tail with leaks and fails over the remainder of the exhaust in time. Just the process of the removal to swap your header can cause other joints to stress and fail sooner than expected.
A fresh system is worry over really. You can then enjoy the sound of your bike instead of listening all the time for the next exhaust issue.
Just my thoughts mate, best of luck.

I think most of the single end can exhaust systems usually mean you'll loose the centre stand
The exhaust from the later model will fit your 1990 (parts fiche is your friend

The only difference that I am aware of with the earlier exhaust system is the mounting point on the collector box.

I will try to figure out if they match.
Thanks.
